I'm not sure I can handle any more sadness this week, alas, sorrow is where I find myself.

While I still have a full beard, I have trimmed to honor my family and late father-in-law at his funeral. I also did it to bring a much-needed smile to my wife's face - a great rarity in recent days. As you can see, I have trimmed beyond acceptable Whiskerino measures. I am sad, but not regretful. I accept my shame... I can only hope it is served with a bit of sympathy.

I'll really miss seeing everyone at the Throwdown this year. Many of you can expect some twitter follows and/or emails from me in the near future (especially #homebrew.)

I hope you all understand and keep in touch. I'll stay with you in spirit, Whiskerino.
