Mixed emotions.

I've had a great evening with my daughter, but it was without my dear wife, Lana, who is in Sevierville with her family at her father's bedside. His situation looks more bleak each day.

Maybe mixed isn't the right word... I'm just full of lots of emotions. Thanks for reading.

That sounds tough. It's good that your wife can spend the time with her dad.

(Sidenote: I picked apples in Sevierville last fall. Some local news channel ran a piece on a local orchard and we mistakenly thought it was a pick-your-own place so we drove from my wife's uncle's home south of Knoxville only to discover there was no apple picking allowed. He felt sympathy and let us pick them anyways. It made my kids day. Clame for the result.)

@wondermade - That really made me smile. I love Pick Your Own stuff and can't wait to take Avery when she's older.

@mattyc, @Andrew, @ThatGuy - Thanks, fellas.
