So here's where I work. And live.

The problem is I don't own a lens wider than 35mm* so this is about all i can get into a 4x3 shot.

Inane detail:

The white wall rolls around and on the other side is the wall of photos I posted before. I shoot a lot of people on this white wall mostly because I can adjust the angle of the wall to make the light from the windows how I want it. The wall is covering my kitchen area (I'm like 2 feet from the fridge, and the wall keeps going for a few feet on the left, for your schematic notes)

Behind the kitchen is the bathroom, then my office.

Back right corner (behind the two portraits) is my bedroom)

Dirty table is...used mostly to house that 4x5 enlarger I've never used. It has other photo gear and unopened mail on it too. The wall to the right has a good 15 feet of hart pine tiny shelves I use to put up more pictures (it was originally for the 3 of us who were shared this space in the beginning. Now it is just me and it feels narcissistic).

Stuff on the ground is my stuff from New York I haven't unpacked yet.

You can see hints of a tiny table and the beginning of my couch/tv area.

The stuff under the table is as follows:

Prints from some show I was in
Tons of boxes of photo-inkjet paper my mom gave me (???)
A Vans shoe box full of exhausted batteries (still not sure how to dispose of them)

The stuff on the table is in two piles.

Pile on right (stuff for ebay):

Some Mamiya 645 lenses
Rolleiflex 3.5 Tessar
Some crappy lenses
Mamiya m645 body, etc

Pile on left (normal use, more or less):

Olympus Pen EE
Big-huge lens
1V-HS (Film canon body hiding behind lens)
Mamiya RZ
Rollei 2.8E
Speed Graphic
Leica M4-P
Couple of Lomo LC-As (the LC-A+ is broken)

I don't know why I listed all these things. Oh wait, yes I do. I couldn't think of a more interesting way to show my studio with limited time resources. I'm hoping for nerds to enjoy this and for everyone else to just pass on by.

Bitchin' ladder back there eh?

*technically I own a 24mm lens for my 35/DLSR stuff, but its old and the aperture is stuck. I also have a 35mm lens for the m645 but its being sold. It's roughly a 20ish mm lens for that format. This is all far, far too much information.

Whatever. This is my work stuff.

35mm is the lowest I have, but I do keep a screw on macro lens for occasions just like today. It was something like $30. The image quality is occasionally blurry / goofy but it's lots of fun.

I love all the details.

I'm hoping to get a 24mm for my D90 by the time the Throwdown happens, but that's basically a 36mm equivalent on the D90's sensor anyway.

Amazing writeup. I like your place and your stuff.

Out of curiosity, what are the "crappy lenses" you're putting on ebay?
