I'm Shomer Shabbos. Was interrupted mid-photo and spilled some beer luckily into last night's pint glass. (which happened to still be in the sink. a secret: I drank it). I would have re-shot but I cant be arsed. It's Shabbos.

This is my kitchen (it's tiny). It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it.

Waiting for friends to come over. Lebowski night.

You really have no idea how bad i want to come over for Lebowski night. I've been in this apt all day listening to rain, and I think I'm going a little crazy.

I fully support this. Fully. I'm not sure if you were in on the Lebowski quote off in the chat the other day. Good times.

@leduncan and whoever else wants to know, I'm drinking New Glarus Brewery's "Fat Squirrel" brown ale. Amazing, and my favorite from them during colder months. So blessed to live in WI among so many amazing microbreweries and homebrewers.

New Glarus' most popular varietal amongst Wisconsinites is "Spotted Cow", an unfiltered farmhouse ale.

I'm the only one. Who doesn't think Lebowski is that big a deal. The only one.

I hated Gladiator, too.

@jnonfiction that's OK actually.

I'm a big fan of L.A./S.F. noir fiction (esp Hammett & Chandler's works) & subsequently film noir. The Big Lebowski has a lot of parallels to The Big Sleep, which if you've read the book or seen the movie, you recognize them almost immediately. I think beyond the fun dialogue, that's the draw for me.
