I know how you feel.... it's not a great day in Chicago either.
Great shot.
And never go with a wool scarf.. even after you take it off, the itch will remain until you shower. I suggest a different material.

Oh don't get me wrong. I love the wool. Once broken in, no scratches and super-warm/wind resistant

a scarf is a must in Ireland.get a thick cotton one. no itch.
Posted: Dec 3rd, 2009 - 4:18pm -
Andrew says:
@irishsquire I have one I got at a woolen mills near the Cliffs of Moher. That one's been broken in since I got it, never felt itchy. Nothing like Irish wool. Helped at the cliffs too; was extra windy that day.

Gavin says:
Cliffs of Moher sounds like something from a Tolkien novel.

wool is itchy but it makes up for it in warmth. stuff even warm soaking wet.

also this is a great photo.

Chally says:
Agreed. Wool is such a killer material for insulation, but it really does itch like hell. Rest assured, you won't need the wool scarf too much longer when that beard takes full form.
