Theme Week. Lost in Translation.

Day 1: Sabirabad region Youth and Sport department.

I'm going to translate exactly as they read and not what they mean. After all, the former would be no fun. So far so good. This makes sense.

Does their uppercase I just look like a huge lowercase i?

Absolutely says:
@Gavin it was incredibly confusing at first. The backwards e, or "shwa" is like the "a" in apple. They have three sounds for our "E". It's kind of ridiculous.

@Mackle in Azeri, I and i are two different sounds. The i produces an "eey" whereas the I is more like an "ih" sound. Most likely a horrible phonetical example on my part.

@Absolutely, keep your signs easy like that and i'll have no problem reading them. Also, you are doing a pretty good job laying down the Azerbaijani language knowledge. You probably paid attention unlike me.
