I like the depth. Digital black and white can look bad (I can't quite describe it exactly--flat? shallow?), but this is beautiful. Either you know how to edit a photo, or your camera is much, much better than mine. Probably both.

@dschonn Thank you. I know exactly what you mean about flat black and white digital photos. I used a canon 30d for this. In black and white mode it allows you to apply filters like you normally would for black and white film. I think I chose green for this one, but it will let you choose red, orange, and 2 others I believe. I don't do any post processing with the exception of cropping for the website. If I can't do it with the camera settings I don't do it. I've only recently started playing around with the filter settings in black and white mode. I think I'm going to continue throughout the week.
