Stay back. I may be contagious.

I hate to ever encourage shaving, but when the apocalypse (zombie or otherwise) finally happens and you try to wear a gasmask while bearded, it's not going to work.

NOTES: The PBF is a special mask most likely used by border troops and other units that needed a light weight gas mask that offered freedom from the typical heavy rubber tube and filter. Two oval shaped filter elements (designated ЕО-19Э) were housed in bilateral cheek pockets, similar to the US M17 series. The mask also featured a speech diaphragm and an exhale valve on the front. Like most Soviet masks from the cold war era, the PBF was made in both gray and black rubber.
