Jim Elliott said on Feb 28 @ 12:34am It's been fun, guys. I'm actually surprised I made it, but not really. The only person who didn't really like my beard is my mom, but she knew it wasn't permanent, so she never gave me grief about growing for the contest. That made it A LOT easier to make it without caving and shaving. Michael Eades, Scott Neas, Mason Poe, Ozzy Nelson, Falfa, David Bean, Scrivener, B. Brux, Jeremy, Patrick, Ryan Hale, damnweather, Paragone, Creative Liberty, C Dub, Davis, creole, Jim Renaud, Justie Just, B. Brux, Chris Mikesell, Geezer, webelrino, James C, Finn MacCool, eightbitonline, Ronnie Brown, benfRank, J Dub, and all the rest of the guys, THANK YOU! I am damn proud to say I was growing and showing along with all of you, and I am proud that you all hung in there, too. Your beards are very impressive. A guy could do a hell of a lot worse than to be growing and showing with the same great group of guys in 2007. I hope to see you all for Moustache May, too. Thank you, again; I mean that in all sincerity. This is an awesome website. Keep in touch, folks.

C Dub said on Feb 28 @ 11:37am Jim, I have to say, the fact that you joined up again was one of the best aspects of the celebration this year. I'm glad you hung in there. You seemed to enjoy yourself quite a bit. I certainly enjoyed your shots. Take care & see you again soon.

I am a 29-year-old construction worker, and have been interested in beards for as long as I can remember. I am glad to be participating in Whiskerino 2005.

Do you still want to talk beards after Whiskerino is over? If so, you're more than welcome to visit Beard Board, the beard-related message board that I own, and post updates to myself from time to time.
